In the year 2022.

My son got seriously upset with me this morning because my answer to his question--"Mom, can you teach me how to drive the car today?"--was no.

We have a long twelve years ahead of us.

Tell him that once he learns how to drive, he'll just be running errands for you anyway. No free time for him.

Wait until I tell him about motorcycles.

You can teach him how, he just can't DO it. His Dad was told he couldn't drive until he had his eagle. When he got that at age 14 he promptly held out his hand and asked for the car keys. Guess it runs in the family...

I can't wait to see what Jack is like when the baby comes and when he's old enough to drive. :) He was making the funniest faces that weekend when we were there for Thanksgiving. We're so luck to have him in our family!

...is his hair getting darker? and has he grown about 20 inches since last fall? What a cute kid!
