Buffy's Tortuous Internal Debate

The following voices have been battling inside Buffy's head for approximately two and a half years.

Buffy 1: You really need to start a blog.
Buffy 2: No. For many, many, many reasons no.
Buffy 1: But it will silence the voices of family and friends who ask, "So when are you going to start your blog?"
Buffy 2: I just tell those well-meaning loved ones that we used to have a blog, but decided that it wasn't for us.
Buffy 1: Yeah, but that blog was back in 2004 when you were sans Jack. And, lest you forget, that was Allan's blog. You were too afraid to post.
Buffy 2: I know, I know. But I don't want to start viewing my life through the lens of blogging. You know, "How can I spin this situation so as to make it entertaining enough to put on my blog?"
Buffy 1: You don't need to spin anything! The fact that your life is so obviously boring will only serve to make others feel better about themselves. Consider it an act of charity. You're trying to work on that, remember?
Buffy 2: You know I always start things and never finish them! Majoring in organ performance. Pilates. Reading the instruction manual to the digital camera. Vegetarianism in the tenth grade. Writing that epic love story about an Irish immigrant farm worker who falls for his master's snooty, but genteel daughter.
Buffy 1: But it's such an easy way to let your loved ones see pictures and movies of your pride and joy! And it will be a way for you to start writing again. You need to write more than the weekly grocery list if you ever hope to join the Vandagriff publishing empire.
Buffy 2: Fine. But only because I'm exhausted from over-analyzing this. I need to spend my mental energy on more worthwhile debates. Like whether or not I should return the Bermuda shorts that I bought today.

Consider this the most reluctant blog launch ever. In the history of blog-kind.
